- Which option/way do you use to select "Shutdown" or "Reboot" ? The menu, the Plasma desktop right click, the Lock&Logout widget ? Thanks I always reboot / shutdown by menu (Lancelot). But I have tried some times and I couldn't reproduce this bug. Let me continue trying, if I see this bug again I'll comment. Thanks. Now I think I got it. In my case, if I execute a command to shutdown or restart the system and close the laptop LID before KDE exits, then it just log off. - What are the actions configured for "closing the LID" on: SystemSettings/Advanced-tab/Power management/Edit profiles ? Thanks For the profile I'm using (Performance), it is configured to Suspend to RAM when the LID is closed. I think this has been already fixed, at least I remember a k-c-d discussion. Yes, I can confirm, it was fixed. I'm using KDE 4.3.3 and I couldn't reproduce this bug anymore. Thanks for the answers! |
