Version:           2.12 (using 4.2.4 (KDE 4.2.4), Debian packages)
Compiler:          cc

  Hello:

  I've noticed that ark is now unable to open files like this one:

ftp://ftp.de.debian.org/debian/dists/sid/main/binary-amd64/Packages.bz2

  Just a text file bzip compressed.

  It should, and indeed it was able on kde3 times.
