Version:           2.3 (using 4.2.96 (KDE 4.2.96 (KDE 4.3 RC2)) "release 142", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.1)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.27.23-0.1-default

When I select some text in konsole, I cannot paste it anywhere with a middle click as I used to.  The only way that cutting and pasting works now in konsole is is I select "copy" from the edit menu, and then I can "Edit->Paste" in another konsole.  But pasting into other programs (emacs, Firefox, konqueror) does not work.  Selections from konsole do not appear in the klipper menu either.

- What is your Qt4 version ?
- Do you experience this behaviour in any other application? (KDE4 and non-KDE ones)

My Qt is 4.5.2.

Same problem with Kate too.  Kate selections do not appear in klipper either.

This is a Qt bug fixed recently in 4.5.xbranch : bug 199333.
