Does it happen after upgrade from KDE 3.x? It looks like duplicate of bug 183515. Although I used on my account an "upgraded" kmail setting, the problem can easily be reproduces with a new user account (or a removed kmailrc). E.g. select to show the column "Size", move it to the far left, quit kmail, restart it -> Size column is again on the far right. I can confirm this is happening on new accounts, too. You don't need to add any column, just swap 'subject' and 'sender', restart kmail and voila! kmail 1.12.2 on kde 4.3.1 Seeing the same behavior here with KMail 1.12.2 / KDE 4.3.1 from OpenSuSE 11.1. Swap "Sender" and "Subject" columns by dragging "Sender" to the left. Works great, but after restarting KMail, the columns are back where they were. Add new column. Drag it in to some other position. Restart KMail and it'll be back over on the right. *** Bug 213154 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** KMail 1.12.3, KDE 4.3.3: I think the bug was fixed. No, it is not fixed. I've tested exactly the same version of kmail and it still forgets column order... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 187217 *** |
