Description John Koelndorfer 2009-06-29 20:06:44 UTC
Version: 1.4.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Fedora RPMs

When Akregator is minimized to the notification area (NOT the task bar -- use the 'x') and then restored, the window is always the same size and position. It does not remember the window's previous size and position. In my case, it's a very small window which is not usable. Having to resize it is annoying and not intuitive.

Cannot reproduce - but I've seen buggy code in KDE's systray implementation (I think).

Does this affect only Akregator or also other applications which can be "minimized" to systray?

Looks related to bug 153590 / bug 168845.

Frank: It seems that this bug does not affect Kopete, but DOES affect KGet. Really odd. For me, Akregator comes back in the same spot/size every time regardless of where I move the window or how I size it. KGet was different in that it would sometimes come up in different places but never the size I wanted.
