Version: (using KDE 4.2.4)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

Hi all, I don't like too much when a tooltip is opened if I leave the mouse in some particular areas of the desktop, kmail and other KDE applications. I found the way to disable most of them, but I still missing the option to disable the tooltips in the panel. This option is OK in the task manager, but not in the other places (e.g. application louncher, show desktop or time icon). Thanks

do you mean the "composite" tooltips or even the standard tooltips?

Hi, I'm not really familiar with the differentiation that you are giving me. I got the tooltips term looking at option that I disabled in "task manager setting" (show tooltips), thinking in not having pop up windows with the information about where am I placed with the mouse. The same term is used in kmail. What I'm wishing is to have the same option for the entire panel, thus not having pop up windows for the icons usually placed on the left-bottom corner (firefox or configure your computer). Thanks.
