Description libervis 2009-06-24 22:36:14 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.90)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In KDE 4.2 beta2, when I have folder view enabled and right click to the desktop and choose "folder view settings" to bring up desktop settings it allows me to change wallpaper only once by browsing for it on my hard drive.

Once I browse for a new wallpaper and set it, it works normally. But if I press the browse (folder icon) button again and select a new wallpaper the wallpaper doesn't change in the preview and the "picture" drop down, and the apply button remains disabled.

The only way to change the wallpaper again by browsing for it is to close desktop settings and open it again.

Thanks

can't reproduce in trunk
Comment 2 libervis 2009-06-25 15:33:12 UTC
Looks like it's not happening in SVN (one from a kde-nightly package of the Neon Project (KDE variant). Might be fixed already.

It's fixed in trunk, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=195711
