Do you have write permissions in that NTFS partition/folder ? Anyways if you don't have them, the configuration files are wrote in a hidden local configuration. Does this NTFS partition/folder has always the same mount path ? Regards No response. Marking as NEEDSINFO Sorry for the late answer, yes, I have permition to write on them and yes, it has always the same mount path :) When you change the view mode, is a file named ".directory" being created in that dir ? Is a directory representation of the path being created under "/home/$USER/.kde4/share/apps/dolphin/view_properties/" ? Thanks This bug does not occur for me with Dolphin 1.3 on local NTFS filesystems, even ones where I have no write permission (the .directory file goes in the tree under ~/.kde/share/apps/dolphin/view_properties), but it *does* occur with a filesystem mounted with sshfs where I do have write permission. @madengineer10@gmail.com: your issue may be related or not. Waiting for Tom feedback. Can anyone still reproduce this issue? I don't have a NTFS disk available, so I cannot triage this bug on my own. No response -> closing. Please reopen this bug if you still encounter this crash in newer versions of Dolphin. |
