*** Bug 219168 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 240864 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Very needs this feature. Maybe I can solve this problem via mail filters in Kmail2? I would not like KMail to change Trash's email's state. I would want Trash to not show unread count. Trash is folder and I am not sure why anybody would want to change email's state en masse. I use GMail and GMail deletes email permanently after 30 days in Trash folder. The problem I have is unread count which isn't at all helpful. This info is not at all usable. It should be hidden. (In reply to donniezazen from comment #4) > I would not like KMail to change Trash's email's state. I would want Trash > to not show unread count. That would work for me too. The option to not act on or notify about unread mail in the trash folder is already available: Select the trash folder - Folder Properties - General Ensure that the "Act on new/unread mail in this folder" is turned off |
