After using the new gewnview version I am now officially hating the new overlay for rotating the images as it gets seriously into the way of selecting the image for display. I can't count the number of times that I  have rotated an image during the last few days when no rotation was necessary (redundant as my camera correctly embeds the orientation) and I had to revert to the original image from backup° So please allow dumbing down this nuisance to be less irritating!
