Version:           1.11.4 (using KDE 4.2.4)
Compiler:          gcc 4.3.4 
OS:                Linux
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

Kmail can't receive new mail manually nor automatically (I have 5 minutes timeout in settings) after internet reconnect. Progress simply stops on 0 and nothing happens. 

PS: I use IMAP on gmail account.

I guess this is very similar to bug 186936 (except you do not suspend/resume the computer, only internet connection).
