How about adding a network tab instead? Like the folder tab which you can integrate into the left sidebar. yeah...not a bad idea Resetting assignee to default as per bug #305719 *** Bug 301275 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** FWIW, macOS Finder has had this for more than a decade without becoming unbearably slow. The only sane way to do this is to scoop up the network resources discovered by Avahi; we can't reasonably crawl the network every so often.
