1. Share a directory in Windows - let's call it foo in computar bar in workgroup work without user/password authentication.
2. fireup dolphin on your KDE box
3. open network->samba shares->work->bar
4. Now you are asked for a user/password although nothing was set up and you don't see a folder foo. Directly typing this in the location bar works however.
