Same here with KDE 4.2.3 on openSUSE 11.1. Everytime I get a notification the window I'm working with loses its focus. *** Bug 195759 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** if you enable on desktop effects "dim inactive windows" you will see that it does not only steal keyboard focus, but it gets active for a while. Yes that is absolutely annoying. If a notification is displayed, fullscreen applications like games leave fullscreen mode, loose focus, and plasma widgets overlay the windows which just lost focus. It is also annoying when switching windows with Alt+Tab because the notifications grab focus and the Alt+Tab ordering is changed. Using KDE 4.2.4 on Gentoo here... Usually I'd prefer that if running a window fullscreen, no notification get in my way. *** Bug 205209 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 196954 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** It's fixed since some KDE versions... fixed in trunk |
