If you can reproduce at will.. can you start Kontact from Konsole, then reproduce the crash (clicking the button) and finally pasting here the shell output from Konsole... (specialy the "ASSERT" line). Thanks It happened again. A new message in an IMAP-folder is marked as unread. I click on it and right after that i hit the SPAM-button. Then kontact crashes. The last few lines in the konsole are these: [...] kontact(5492)/kmail (storage internals) KMFolderIndex::openInternal: KDE_fopen(indexLocation()= "/home/matthias/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap/.588786341.directory/.INBOX.index" , "r+") == mIndexStream == 0x9ea7688 kontact(5492)/kmail (storage internals) KMFolderIndex::openInternal: KDE_fopen(indexLocation()= "/home/matthias/.kde/share/apps/kmail/imap/.588786341.directory/.INBOX.index" , "r+") == mIndexStream == 0x9f5a710 kontact(5492)/kmail (storage internals) KMFolderMaildir::reallyDoClose: fclose(mIndexStream = 0x9ec0010 ) *** KMail got signal 11 (Crashing) KCrash: Application 'kontact' crashing... sock_file=/home/matthias/.kde/socket-Headquarter/kdeinit4__0 Err... no Assert this time, so the crash was different. You will have to install the "kdepim-dbg" package to get a better backtrace. It is solved in a kmail version from kde 4.2 or 4.3, since Q3.... is not used anymore in those versions. Closing the old crash reports which don't have a useful backtrace. Thanks. |
