Amarok 2.0.2 is already a bit old. Could you upgrade to Amarok 2.1 and tell us if this still happens? Yes, the (In reply to comment #1) > Amarok 2.0.2 is already a bit old. Setting version to 2.1 This strange sorting also happens with dragonplayer and VLC, when one opens a file, the list in the dialog is sorted in reverse order. Some KDE bug maybe? I don't quite understand comment #4. What do you do in VLC or Dragon Player to replicate this behaviour? (In reply to comment #5) > I don't quite understand comment #4. As Amarok uses the underlying KDE, this could well be a KDE problem. (In reply to comment #6) > (In reply to comment #5) > > I don't quite understand comment #4. By "file browser" do you mean the "Open File" dialog window? If so, that does not happen on my system. (Nor does it have anything to do with the original bug, as far as I can see.) *** Bug 199777 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 206315 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** In Amarok 2.2 you can sort the playlist by year, so it should fix the problem. |
