I figured out a workaround for the issue. Remove /var/tmp/kdecache-jake. Should KDE setup symbolic links inside of a users homedir? This makes it slighly harder to fixed issues such as this. I got the same problem - at least, I think so. Sadly removing /var/tmp/kdecache-* didn't work for me. Also I only got the problem when not running a full kde session, e.g. fluxbox. (fyi, I already filed a bug at bugs.gentoo.org as I couldn't find this bug before and thought it was a distro problem... http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=273066) Feel free to reopen the report if the problem still happens in KDE SC 4.8.4 o higher verions. |
