Hi, actually this is already possible but you might have a similar problem like I have: http://forum.kde.org/konqueror-weird-middle-mouse-button-problem-t-43333.html Thanks for the bug report! Actually, the things you describe are implemented in Konqueror (works fine here on Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.2). Problems with middle-clicking in Konqueror in connection with X 1.6.0 have been reported a couple of times already though (bug 189761), your report is probably a duplicate. May I ask which Kubuntu version you're using? And if you're using 9.04, is it a fresh install or did you upgrade from 8.10 (that's what I did)? Also the X server and maybe the Qt versions could be interesting ("X -version" and "konqueror --version" should tell you that). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 189761 *** This is a dupe, I am surprised that my search did not turn that up.
