Version: (using KDE 4.2.2)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In Konqueror in KDE 3, the user could middle click on a folder in file broswing mode to open it in a new tab, and in a similar fashion the user could middle click a link in a webpage in web browsing mode to open it in a new tab. These features are not present in Konqueror in KDE 4. Please add them. Thanks.

Hi, actually this is already possible but you might have a similar problem like I have:

Thanks for the bug report! Actually, the things you describe are implemented in Konqueror (works fine here on Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE 4.2.2). Problems with middle-clicking in Konqueror in connection with X 1.6.0 have been reported a couple of times already though (bug 189761), your report is probably a duplicate.

May I ask which Kubuntu version you're using? And if you're using 9.04, is it a fresh install or did you upgrade from 8.10 (that's what I did)? Also the X server and maybe the Qt versions could be interesting ("X -version" and "konqueror --version" should tell you that).

This is a dupe, I am surprised that my search did not turn that up. I will add my comments there. Thanks!
