Hmm, to me that looks just like normal X11 behaviour, just checked, we use the right API functions, works like intended. I am having the same problem, all I know is that after using copy in kate, then closing kate, my clipboard is cleared. I never had this problem with kate before, it only started this today. Can someone help out with what setting in Linux Mint or Ubuntu 14.04 LTS might need to be changed to allow the clipboard to remain after kate is closed? A temporary solution to this problem is to keep kate open until after the paste has been made. |
