Well there is a Directory choice to add your own playlist layout. But it can not still search/filter by using Directory. There is only Tracks, Albums, Artists.. etc but no Directory. There is only Tracks, Albums, > Artists.. etc but no Directory. Ping, is this really totally useless ? Must not be that hard to implent. Patience... or could you help with it? Rather than filing a new bug, I'd like this functionality for filtering local collections. The reason for this is that I use Amarok to organize my collection into one spot. I have one area (Music/temporary) that holds all new tracks that are ready to be organized. Now, for one or two artists it's not a big deal to go through and indvidually organize them, but for any more it becomes very tedious, and it would be a huge timesaver to just search for that path, select all, and organize them. This was how I did it in 1.4 and it worked quite well. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 101816 *** |
