This happens also using the notes and translatoid plasmoids on KDE 4.2.2. with all the special characters which have to be written using two keys on certain keyboards (¨, ^, ´, etc.). I didn't have that problem when I was using KDE-4.2.2. But now that I upgraded to kde-4.2.3, the problem showed up. I am from Brazil and when I type stuff in pt_BR which need accentuation, as soon as I press the "acute" (´) key it gets displayed, instead of waiting for the next character (a vowel in Portuguese). Any hints on how to solve this? Aínda non. Let's hope someone fix it soon. *** Bug 192366 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** also happens when using compose key. *** Bug 192604 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Fixed in trunk but I cannot point to the commit that fixed it! But accented letters like ^ + e => ê and compose key accents now work in all Plasma input widgets! |
