This is obviously a phonon problem. I'd reassign it there, but the report isn't very useful (how long is a piece of string, after all). No sound in Amarok2 + Kubuntu Jaunty RC1, if Phonon GStreamer backend is used. Xine works, but doesn't let the user set the sound level right! Sound Card: 00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller (rev 02) Packages: amarok 2:2.0.2mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu2 amarok-common 2:2.0.2mysql5.1.30-0ubuntu2 libphonon4 4:4.3.1-0ubuntu3 phonon-backend-gstreamer 4:4.3.1-0ubuntu3 If this is the wrong place for this bug report, please advise where to continue reporting. You may e.g. ask for help in our forum: http://amarok.kde.org/forum This bug could be related with this one https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=189898 Closing correctly. |
