Sentry Crash Report:

Description Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-04-05 20:04:44 UTC
Version: 1.11.1 (using 4.2.1 (KDE 4.2.1), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.29-0.slh.1-sidux-686

If i have a contact's key in my gpg, then it will be impossible for me to send unencrypted mails to the person, because kmail will allow me only to encrypt or cancel.

in the kmail settings/Security/Composing, is "Automatically encrypt messages whenever possible" checked ?
Comment 2 Salvo "LtWorf" Tomaselli 2009-05-23 17:35:09 UTC
Yes, but for me it means checking by default the button, thing that i should still be able to override unchecking it in the compose window.

One symptom that might be related:

In KAddressBook (still 3.5.10, Gentoo amd64), it's impossible for me to change the encryption preference from "Always encrypt" to "Ask".
Comment 4 Jonathan Kolberg 2011-05-09 16:59:14 UTC
Not reproducable with KDEPIM 4.6 beta 5
Comment 5 Christophe Marin 2011-05-09 18:19:11 UTC
Works as expected in kdepim 4.6
