I suppose that a System Settings module which returns application configurations to their default values would help here. It would be a simple matter of deleting the appropriate ~/.kde/share/config/*rc file. Alternatively, instead of erasing the *rc file, it could simple rename the file *rc-YYYMMDD (date format). So far as KDE is concerned this would be the same as deleting the file, but it would allow for recovery. On KDE 4.5.0 you can create a new "default panel". Do you agree to consider this wish as fixed? |
