Moving to the proper KDE product I think file dialogs has to be a dolphin window. This will add preview functionality too. alot of wishes will be satisfied if you implement it this way *** Bug 294823 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 108192 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Cut, Copy, Paste, drag-and-drop to move/copy, actions, and compress make no sense to have in the file Open dialog. Those are all actions that demand a dedicated file management workflow. There's simply no way to adequately execute those features from within a file open dialog. Rename makes some sense since you may want to save a file under the name current;s used by another file, and a quick way to rename that file is handy. That's tracked with Bug 189482. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 189482 *** |
