Description doc.evans 2009-03-24 03:29:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.0)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

The only documentation that seems to be available for the "Bookmarks" plugin says, in its entirety:
  "Find and open bookmarks".

So the user has no idea what kind of bookmarks this plug-in will "find and open". Konqueror? Firefox? okular? Openoffice.org? Who knows?

A detailed list of the kinds of bookmarks that this plugin understands should be readily available to the user.

And as a matter of English: it's not at all obvious what "find" and "open" mean (or what the difference is) in the context of a generic bookmark; that should be clearly explained too.

I know this is a really old issue but there is a solution in progress.
