Small tip: Ever since Yakuake 2.9.1, re-running Yakuake will show/hide it if it's already running, so you can get the left click behavior of your proposed tray icon already by simply putting Yakuake in your panel. That said, an optional system tray icon may still be a nice thing. Thank you, I know of this tip. Good if you delete your yakuake-shortcut. ;P (Works similar with Kopete, Ktorrent and Amarok too, but of course, they can't slide).
