When typing in a textbox, and the spellchecker notices a spelling error, one can right-click to the red underlined text, to bring up the suggestions. Now, when doing this (right-clicking) the erroneous text should be selected, in order to replace that with the suggestion. However, text before the mistyped word gets selected, and gets replaced by the spell checker.

Sorry, just noticed, that this is in the wrong product. It is not Kopete specific; it applies to every KDE4 application which uses the internal spellchecker (including Kopete, however).

THis is a Qt bug, fixed on Qt4.5, according to bug 187259
