Description Marc Schoechlin 2009-03-13 11:14:43 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

It should be possible to mark a existing klipper entry to be a permanent entry.
Every klipper entry should provide a context menu entry.

When entry is not permanent:
- Item 1: Mark entry permanent
- Item 2: Mark entry permanent with hotkey

When entry is permanent:
- Item 1: Mark entry nonpermanent
- Item 2: Assign hotkey

i.e. this is very useful for situations like this:
- short sequences of shell configuration
(useful for admins: login as root to a remote system from konsole and paste your settings - you coworkers
  will be happy)
- editing high numbers of documents
  (adding a certain fragment)
- temporary storage for important information which is needed later
...

Thanks for developing this great kde desktop :-)

I really should get around to doing this. It's a good idea, an popular, too.
