I don't like this idea - the digital clock plasmoid should show a digital clock, nothing else. Make / ask for another plasmoid, that just shows "15 °C", and put it right next to a digital clock plasmoid. We have discussed this option on the plasma developers list and decided this option will not be added to the standard clock widget. There are many weather widgets that can be used instead. You are right. I changed my mind about this wish after suffering with the clock's calender integration. Do you know the little applet starts the whole akonadi framework, even if you don't use it and don't want it running? Anyways, that is stuff for another wish. Kudos for you for not overbloating the clock applet with my wild wish ;) |
