Yes, this have a relation with changing screen resolution. This have been fixed in KDE4.2.2 and KDE 4.3 Look at bug 185741 comment 3 for a workaround (you need to edit your "~/.kde/share/config/plasmarc" file) Some distributions are planning on backporting this fix to their stable packages Thanks for reporting *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 185741 *** |
Version: (using KDE 4.2.1) Compiler: gcc-Version 4.3.2 (Ubuntu 4.3.2-1ubuntu12) OS: Linux Installed from: Ubuntu Packages When logging in using KDE as desktop manager plasma crashes. I'm not sure if this is releated but when I last used KDE a 3d game crashed and caused the desktop to be resized to lower resolution. If my memory does not deceive I had a similar problem on my laptop when logging out of KDE while it was attached to a video projector which had lower resolution.
