Interesting idea. Which parts of kwin use plasma frames? I always thought all plasma rendering was done by plasma itself. Created attachment 31740 [details]

Recently such effects as the Cover Switch and Desktop Cube have been ported to show text inside plasma frames. A screenshot of such a frame in Cover Switch is attached. Actually, in Gwenviev, there is at least one more widget that would look nice if done with the help of Plasma: the Crop widget. Thank you for the bug report. As this report hasn't seen any changes in 5 years or more, we ask if you can please confirm that the issue still persists. If this bug is no longer persisting or relevant please change the status to resolved. Does not seem relevant anymore. |
