I see some problems with your approach, for example: * kmail must change the effective user id to be allowed to read/write the mails. But also must have the real user id to open kaddressbook, akonadi resources, .... Therefore, kmail will be more complex (and more bugs to come :-(). I propose you a much simpler solution: move kmail directory somewhere else (into a safe directory) and make a symbolic link to the default place. |
