The tabbed view of e-mail list is great. I wish there would be an option of opening a mailbox folder in a new tab by right clicking the folder an selecting that option from the context menu of that folder. Currently, you open the new tab first and then navigate to the new folder to display it on the new tab. Just a suggestion.

I would like to second this! With the current architecture of KMail it shouldn't be too hard to implement ( I will help if necessary ) and could give KMail a good advantage over Thunderbird in the near future. 

I know that Thunderbird 3.0 beta 2 has this feature and it works very nicely! Also this feature will really help the interface on UMPCs with small screens.

you can open a mail folder in a new tab with middle clic of mouse on the folder ;)

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
