Sentry Crash Report:

Description Stephan Sokolow 2009-02-07 19:27:41 UTC
Version: unknown (using 4.2.00 (KDE 4.2.0), Gentoo)
Compiler: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu-gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25-gentoo-r7-20080501

Sometimes (exact conditions unknown), the screensaver will activate, but instead of filling the entire desktop (2560x1024 over two monitors), will fill an area in the top-left corner of the left-hand monitor which appears to be 640x480. The rest of the visible area is filled with a uniform light gray which, I think, matches my chosen default window background color. This never happened on KDE 3.5.

I'm currently using KDE 4.2.0 on an nVidia TwinView-based dual-head setup and my chosen screensaver is Euphoria from the rss-glx 3D screensaver pack.

Oh, I meant to also say that I'm using Kwin4 with OpenGL compositing in Texture from Pixmap mode with direct rendering and vsync enabled.
