I can confirm this bug on Gentoo with KDE 4.2.0. It was very neat in 4.1.4 to filter the folders, then drag messages to the resulting folders, way faster than via context menu's "move". Now it doesn't work anymore... What I've done in kmail 1.11.90 (kde 4.2.62) is: open two tabs, in one of them filter the folder by using the quick filter, in the other tab select other folder, drag and drop a message to the first folder, come back to the first tab, and the filter is still there and applied. In reply to comment #2, I don't really get what is meant. I opened two tabs, filtered the folder tree view and the filter is applied to the tree view of both tabs (is this the expected behavior by the way?). No matter from what tab I want to drag a message to a folder in the folder tree now, the tree view is always reset to the complete tree, but the filter's search string is still in the filter field. This is KMail 1.11.0 (of KDE 4.2.0). I'm sorry, I missed the "folder" word in filtered folder tree (several times 8-(). Confirmed in kmail 1.11.90 (kde 4.2.62). *** Bug 182385 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 186924 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This bug is still valid in KDE 4.2.3 and Qt 4.2.2 on Gentoo. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 204257 *** |
