Great mockup. This is the feature I want most in 4.3, as I think that neither plasma nor the desktop features will fully be able to complement each other until this is done. I would love to see this feature in 4.3. That would rapidly improve the usage of virtual desktops and activities. +1 from me :) Currently you can set plasma to have different ativity for each desktop. But your mockup is very interesting... how about multiple monitors? When you use twinview (for example) with 4 virtual desktop, each monitor has its own activity. In this case you should configure TWO activities for each virtual desktop. huh. I never saw this report... anyways, the way activities work in 4.5+ makes it irrelevant, I'm afraid. activities and virtual desktops are separate now. (although we still need someone to make it easy to get to a screen's widgets after it's unplugged...) |
