Description Bimal Rekhadiya 2008-12-22 09:39:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi
I like the current desktop/plasma theme in KDE 4.2 Beta. It's really nice.

But, I don't like the current window theme. The white Oxygen Theme.

I like to say that if it possible to create theme based on "Plasma Desktop Theme" for KDE appearance theme?

Like all application can use the same Desktop/Plasma themes or create some themes based on Desktop/Plasma themes for KDE appearance theme.

So all application looks cool and feels KDE 4.

Thank you

Yup, the kwin4 plasma theme would give kde4 a chance to look nice, standarized, and coherent with the desktop (which is most of the time covered by windows).
Oxygen theme has nothing in common with the desktop look&feel (just imagine fluffy window decorations!).

I totally agree. There's just no beauty in having Plazma themed as Elegance, and desktop decoration themed as Oxygen.

I mean, what's this Oxygen all about? It looks like KDE 7 years ago. Really destroys this whole new look&feel stuff.
