Description Jacques-Louis KREISS 2008-12-13 21:25:25 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
Installed from: Mandriva RPMs

KMail guesses when a message comes from a mailing list ('List-Post' header). When one replies to such a message, the 'To' field defaults to the list address instead of the original sender's address, even if there is no 'Reply-To' header telling so.

I think this is non-standard behaviour and should not be encouraged. It is up to the list administrator to decide whether the default reply should be to the list or to the original sender. He can put a 'Reply-To' header if he wants the reply to go to the list.

I know this has already been filed as a bug (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=81778), then ignored, but I think this is a really bad behaviour that should not be encouraged...
