Nice ASCII graphics ;-) I know that this is not as...streamlined, but when you hold the mouse down on the latest entry (or any one), it will list off the directories above it. Yes, but only one level deep. That's too limiting, and not very efficient. You should be able to drill all the way down. (And thanks for the ASCII compliment. It's compatible with every browser but IE, LOL) I'm not sure I agree with it being not just one level deep. Personally, I think that it is too much to be done in merely a breadcrumb view, if you are going half way around your file system. I think that it should just be one level, since it will get cluttered to browse around then. I think that would be great! I've voted this idea :) 20 votes! Any updates on this? Version: (using KDE 4.1.3) Installed from: SuSE RPMs In the navigation bar (where the folders are listed) the arrows (the greater-than symbol) should dynamically show all the folders under that folder for as many sub-folder levels as exist. See below for description of what it currently is and what it should be:
CURRENTLY LIKE THIS -------------------- (If clicking on "me"): home > me > downloads ------------- | Apps | | downloads | | sbin | ------------- WHAT IT SHOULD BE -------------------- (If clicking on "me" and then "Apps"): home > me > downloads --------------- | Apps > | -------------- | downloads > | | FireFox > | | sbin > | | KWrite | --------------- | Something | --------------
(Apologies for the horrible "graphics")
