KRDC does not get a response from the RDP server if the password was okay. So if it failed, we cannot update it. The only way to change the password is IMHO in KWallet. I would like to fix it if possible, but I see no way to do so... :( Perhaps a tab context menu could have an option to "update" the password? Do you mean a contextmenu in the host settings dialog? I was actually thinking a context menu on the server's tab, though the host settings dialog might be a better place. It might be good for a right-click or some other action on the server tab that then bring up the host settings dialog? Anyway, in the host settings dialog, it would probably be best to have a new button next to the password reference: "[x]Remember password (KWallet) [ Update Password ]" or at least something close to that. I agree with your suggestion. Created attachment 40763 [details]

I'm sorry, this is the wrong bug report. Please ignore my last message. this bug still exists in Wily... The patch is for the file vnc/vncview.cpp. This bug report was for the RDP. |
