When Krunner switches to the slim window (only the textbox) to the big one (with icons and stuff) the animation shows a light-grey/white box which first grows to the correct size, and only afterwards, it is painted black and filled with content. The whole drawing process lasts about 300-500ms during which krunner freezes and it's not possible to continue typing.

This happens with or without desktop effects enabled
composite is enabled and working.

Apparently this glitch is also present when drawing other plasma objects, like when displaying the calendar, or the menu. I attach a screencast which shows the problem, and a screenshot of the calendar issue, which is barely noticeable (if ever) in the screencast
