This is some what similar to bug 36796 but affects any email, not just GPG signed one.

If I want to navigate within some of my email, while pressing shift and the arrow keys to select a few email (in a thread or not) only the body of the 1st selected email will be shown and not of the most recent one.

one previous versions of kmail that worked as expected.

It works for me, it shows the last select mail in the preview panel.

Also, marking as dup of 36796, even if it is for all the mails, the cause and the consecuencies are the same.
