Description Vadym Krevs 2008-11-24 11:31:58 UTC
Version: 2.1 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3) "release 63.2", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.18-0.2-default

Hi. I'm trying to use mc (midnight commander) in konsole from kde4.1.3. By default, "Key Bindings" are set to "Default (Xfree 4)" on the Input Tab of the Edit Profile dialog. In this case, pressing Ins on the numeric keypad does not select anything. If I change "Key bindings" to "Linux console" or "Solaris Console" then the Ins key starts working in mc. However, the Home/End keys stop working in bash when performing command-line editing. This seems to be a regression compared to Konsole from Kde 3.5.10.

Hello,

I'm using mc frequently. Konsole from kde 4.1.3 does not support the shortcut Ctrl + PgUp to move to the directory level above in the current tree. Example: In old konsole (kde 3.5.10) or xterm this used to work: Being in /usr/local the shortcut Ctrl + PgUp moved the directory to /usr.
