Kpat crashes when launched, with a SIGABRT signal.
The window appears just a little second, and immediately disappears. I had not the opportunity to play at all.

I get the same behaviour. Kubuntu 8.10, backports-repository, KDE 4.1.3.

This happened to me too with today's SVN version. Trying to find out what was going on I commented out the offending Q_ASSERT(). The game took some time on startup and I was expecting it would not paint any cards but after a second or two it painted the cards and ran without problems. Commenting in the Q_ASSERT() again after that and everything is fine now.

Might have something to do with the rc file? Or the card cache?
