Description lenooh 2008-11-05 12:44:54 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Compiler: distributed with kubuntu 8.10
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

In locale settings I have set to use slovenian locale for date, time, numbers, etc., but the digital clock widget insists in its own (american?) format. The language I use is english though. I think this worked in kde4.0

This bug may be related to this one, but not sure:

See the attached screenshot (compare the locale settings with the clock format in the panel):

KLocale does not currently support a way to say "give me the date, but without the year". until that happens, this bug can not be fixed in a sane fashion.

Could it be that this bug is back in KDE SC 4.4 beta2?
Cause that is exactly my problem.

Duplicate of either 195837 or 162368, take your pick :-)

KLocale issue is documented as bug 55334, will probably fix in 4.5.
