Terminal bug in displaying
I have a bug with the terminal too. I don't know if it's the same.
There's not always a return character after a command, and after few commands the cursor is not positioned at the end of the terminal in a new empty line, but at the begining of a previous command line. See attached screen shot. I just opened few files in /var subdirectories and then displayed the terminal.
Often I must clear the terminal screen to can use it.

Terminal bug 2
I have a lot of bugs with the terminal. In this screen shot, we see that in the last line, there's few characters of a previous command.

Terminal bug 3
This screen shot is the best. :) I circled in blue the last command (the cursor was positioned this) and the result of the command is in pink. There's a mix of new commands, previous commands, results of commands, return characters (or not)...
It's not possible to use the terminal without clear the screen very often.
