Isn't that what smart quoting is supposed to do (i.e. remove the signature)? I am not sure I understand, can you elaborate on it a bit more? smart quoting is merging lines in reply quoting. there are plenty of documents that google returns on that. this likely explains it the best: http://members.shaw.ca/dkite/may22003.html or this http://developer.kde.org/~kmail/kmailreview/ i even found similar request (no idea where it was written to) http://archives.devshed.com/forums/kde-96/separate-sig-stripping-from-other-smart-quoting-options-2083070.html Ok, I am sorry. I didn't know that. I am reassigning this to the kmail developers. PS: I am setting version to 1.10.1 as I can confirm in 1.10.1 that disabling smart quoting also disables removing the signature from the reply. Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. |
