Version:           v1.40 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

I use kfourinline with the German locale. The layout on the right hand side is much too small for the strings. German strings are probably a little bit longer than the English ones. In kfourinline the strings overlap or are broken up in the middle of the word. I will try attaching a screenshot.
The layout or the font size should be automatically adapted so that it does not look as bad as it looks right now.

This issue is still present in KDE-4.2 beta 1.
