I can confirm, I have the same problem... I have observed the same problem immediately after upgrading from 4.1.0 to 4.1.2. All tabs in the konqueror window, including newly opened ones, had the Cut and Copy actions grayed out regardless on what I was doing. Newly opened instances of konqueror/dolphin seem to be behaving correctly though. The problem seems to only affect the instance that got session-restored from 4.1.0 - when I closed that window and opened a new konqueror instance, Cut/Copy works well, including after a logout+login - for now at least. Tomas, excellent observation. Sadly, it turns out that it wasn't quite so simple. The problem apparently appears as soon as you try to open any web page in any tab. As soon as you do that, the Cut and Copy actions become permanently grayed out, and the only way to bring them back is to close the window and open a new one. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a new (or use existing) konqueror instance in file browser mode. 2. Check that Cut/Copy works properly there (action is enabled when you select some files, etc). 3. Open any web page (using KHTML, no idea if other rendering engine would trigger the bug too). It can be in a new tab, or in the only tab of a window, makes no difference. 4. And now, you can try selecting anything you want within that window, be it a HTML chunk or a file/directory, the Cut/Copy actions will stay grayed out. Wanted to change the bug title too to better describe the problem, but apparently I cannot do that. I fixed this with 868121. Apparently the SVN keywords still don't work. *** Bug 172311 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 172200 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 172770 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** *** Bug 175054 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
